STRATHAM - It seems only fitting that Ele Wiggin becomes a part of Stratham’s history with her logo design for the 100th anniversary of Stratham Hill Park.
Ele, 9, a student at Stratham Memorial School, is the descendant of Captain Thomas Wiggin, considered to be the town’s founder. Her winning logo will be used in promotional material for the upcoming celebrations.
"I entered the contest because I really like to draw," said Ele. "I knew I needed certain things to be in the picture. A lot of people come there, so I put people in. My dad helped me figure out that Edward Tuck gave the land to the town, so I thanked him in my picture."
