BIBD Unveils New Business Logo Design

Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam Berhad (BIBD) marked a significant moment with the selection of its business logo, created by Pg Omarali bin Pg Hj Mahari. The new BIBD logo design represents Islam at a glance, serving its purpose well. The slogan reads, "Maalan Wa Maj dan', or in Malay, `Kewangan dan Kemuliaan'.
The huge signboard portraying the logo, and the bank was in the process of being installed at the BIBD's building in the capital. The company logo is golden yellow, with BIBD initials, written in a Jawi-like manner, into a mosque dome shape. On behalf of BIBD, Hj Mohd Rozaiman bin DSLJ Hj Abdul Rahman, Corporate Secretary, BIBD thanked the winning logo design contributor and presented Pg Omarali with his cash prize of $2000. Pg Omarali beat over 100 entries which were submitted in the logo competition.
Pg Omarali had won the 18th and 20th National Day logo design competitions, among other achievements. He has often participated in such artistic design competitions and does painting as well.
